Actually, being a non-smoker I haven't a clue where to get them. I have talked to a friend that tried them. She had some success but found that it was a big struggle to change habits.

I quit 18 months ago and let me tell you the habit was a 1000 times harder than the nicotine.

You need to have a mindset change towards the habit and preferably change it with something else.

I stopped when I moved home so it made it a little bit easier to not associate a location with the habit.

If the electric thingy isn't there you will grab for the real thing.

rather try to replace the habit with drinking water, chocolates, mints or whatever.

My girlfriend tried them. I am not a smoker. She liked being able to smoke/vape in public places. What I believe her problem was is that she was scared she was going to get stuck without a smoke. She lost a backup battery and got scared one day. So I think she was afraid of the lack of access to the things and did not want to rely on them. Matter of fact her family liked them. One night that she was over at their house they did not smoke hardly any real cigs and used hers so much they burnt her first one up.

I'm not going to mess with the ecigs though. Like was mentioned, I'll just be givin up one bad habit for another.

Right now I'm batting 1 for about 16 in trying to quit, and I've been smokeless for almost 3 months now, my longest so far. I used to say they'd have to hold up on sealing the casket for me to finish up one last one, but I may just make it this time. For me, it's mostly situational. There are the sacred cigarette times, like after I eat, while I'm having a cold one, when the engine cranks in the truck, that are the hardest times.

Way to go Eddy!!! My last one was on February 15th. Lisa hung in there with me for a month or so, then started back. She's having her gall bladder taken out Friday, so she's trying again tomorrow. We shall see...

Jip. The habit one is really tough. Even now 18 months later I sometimes want to light up when having a beer.

I must say I still enjoy the smell but helping someone light one the other day, the taste was revolting.
