You need to have a mindset change towards the habit and preferably change it with something else.

I stopped when I moved home so it made it a little bit easier to not associate a location with the habit.

If the electric thingy isn't there you will grab for the real thing.

rather try to replace the habit with drinking water, chocolates, mints or whatever.

I'm not going to mess with the ecigs though. Like was mentioned, I'll just be givin up one bad habit for another.
