Any body had a leak from the injection pump?
Mine is leaking from the the engine side (right side the most)
I have tried to retorque the allen bolt but no success.
I will check with Rocky Mountain Imports for the price of a new pump...
I thought to seal it with some metal paste all around, that would take care of the leak!!!
Just talked to RMI and he said should not have any surprise if I take the governer top part of the pump. No hidden spring and just reseal it.
Anybody took that part off before?

Never had mine apart, but I remember torquemonster saying the pump is very similar to an old VW unit. You might want to check with a VW shop that has diesel experience.

Our Zexel pump is a knockoff of the Bosch pump used on 80's VW diesels, older Dodge cummins used a similar pump. its very common.

I have a leak in the same place as your describing but have also been scared to pull it apart. my next timing belt change it coming up this winter so I think that is the time I will pull my pump out and see what I can find. if you get yours done before me lets keep in touch!! I'd like to know what I'm getting myself into.

I will let you know.
I will do some searching around before I take it apart to make sure...
