I'm at 8 right now: (1) 87 Raider, (1) 86 Montero, (1) 87 Montero, (2) 89 Montero 4-door LS, (2) 90 Montero RS 4-door, (1) 91 parts Montero LS
- or -
Roxy - 87 Raider unnamed - 86 Montero Bugsy - 87 Montero Bonnie - 89 4-door with sunroof Clyde - 89 Montero Laura - 90 Montero Molly - 90 Montero (Ray's 'old blue') unnamed - 91 Montero parts car
...and whenever I get it, I'll have another red 87 Raider parts car, but the burgundy 91 will be gone by then so the number won't change too much.
I think Charlie represents the 'Mitsubishi owner' grand champion best, though.

I think Charlie represents the 'Mitsubishi owner' grand champion best, though. What's great about Charlie's collection is that they're all enthusiast cars (well, except for the Diamante wagon ) that anyone who's into Mitsubishis can appreciate as being special vehicles. It's not just a collection of mundane sedans or base model Eclipses. I'd love to see that collection expand with some equally interesting Monteros - a Gen II SWB, maybe a Gen I J-top...the thought of a twin-turbo 3.8 SR has me salivating!
95 Montero SR 3.8 MIVEC, Advance headers, 2 1/2" exhaust, Magnaflow muffler, OME shocks & rear springs, 2" body lift, 3" tank lift, 4.90s, TRE front locker, factory rear locker, Roger Brown Rock Sliderz, 315/75r16 (35") tires, Sport big brakes

Believe it or not the wagon is one of my favorite cars. It has a G72 DOHC engine swapped in, 5 speed. 3K TT front struts and 4 piston brakes. Coil over rear. It rides low and stiff. It cruises nice and out corners and out brakes most cars on the road. For a FWD car it really is not a bad ride. I originally bought it to do an AWD swap into but never got my hands on the proper rear axle. I now have an axle so when I can the car will get the twin turbo engine and AWD
Cheers, Charlie If It ain't broke, Modify it! 87 Montero turbo Converted back in Spring1989 95 Montero SR 3.8 DOHC Only one? 93 Pajero 3 door 6G75 Mivec with paddle shifted 5 speed Then a Gen2 SR with full coil independent suspension.

[Diamante wagon...] I now have an axle so when I can the car will get the twin turbo engine and AWD If I ever hit its big for $$$ (yeah, a big if), I want you to build me a seriously hopped-up TT AWD 6-spd Diamante sedan. My vanity plates will read "BAHNSTRMR" (or whatever close OH will let me fit) so I can go around stomping the $hit of crazy-priced Arian Uber-cars!

BOTTOMFEELER! Good to hear from you!
Thanks for the continued props on the picture. It was in the all-Mitsu calendar this year as the June picture, as a matter of fact.
For those who don't know, that's Mr. Feeder's Gen 1 LWB along with my SWB in the avatar picture. I took the pic; he hung it on his office wall. I went in one day and was like "WTF!" So I had him make me a big print and I keep it around the house myself...it's one of my favorites as well.
Sorry for the off-topic.

I have been trying to cut down on the Mitsubishi habit. So I only have the Black turbo Raider, the Campraider, an 88 lwb and the complete frame and running gear out from under my silver turbo Raider. Still have the 79 Arrow 4x4 pickup also.
Well on my way to becoming that eccentric old man in every town.(crazy as a s#@thouse rat) With a yard full of desireable old vehicles that tells you, Sorry they're not for sale..... Someday I'm going to fix them.

Dan, if you help feed my addiction, I can help you cut back on yours, it's a win, win.
