Where can I find info on door panels for 1985 Dlx Pickup I'm redoing interior in different colors and what to find what colors they came in Original they were brown and tan I used spray paint to spray them black but not sure if the paint will hold on vinyl. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />

Should have used Vinyl & Leather Repair, Dye & Paint. It is made for dyeing vinyl. Do a Google search.

was looking more for different color Schemes they used back in 80-87 for interiors but think I will just do the color scheme I want which is black and gray or dull silver Two tone <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/scared.gif" alt="" />

According to the 1985 brochure, the interior color schemes were brown, blue or gray.

I think the only other color than the above three in the 80's was red.

You had a all one color, or combo of dark/light(blue and brown anyways), you also had cloth and carpet w/the vinyl on some models.

The Duplicolor interior die paint works well, as long as you spray several light coats and don't rush the recoat time. I sprayed a shifter boot cover about 6yrs ago, and it hasn't peeled or flaked off. I sprayed door panels but they were on reconditions I sold, so I can't comment on how well the die work on high use areas.

Probley just do my own color scheme but will be using the vinyl paint/dye to do the rest
