One thing I'd recommend about those base BEGI S kits is to ditch the band-aid fuel management (rising rate FPR) and get a real ECU (Megasquirt, ~$300 if you DIY) and some bigger injectors instead.

Been there, done that, helped write the book, got the t-shirt, the lesson AND a blown engine (broken piston rings and lands from detonation). <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/lol.gif" alt="" /> In fairness, it probably was caused by a weak fuel pump, but the rising rate regulator needs a really good pump to flow enough fuel at the pressures required to deliver enough fuel through smaller injectors.
