Mainly fitment, its tough to squeeze an I6 in there and keep a/c (critical for a VA boy in TX smile ). V6 should work a little better in a truck too (especially when towing my boat) vs a high revving I6. Price-wise the 2jz was actually cheaper, $300 vs $500 both including accessories etc. Of course all the turbo stuff added about 10x to that lol
