I'm a manual guy too, but my $700 volvo is an auto and I've been enjoyed sipping coffee all the way to work without interruptions smile I'll probably end up going 700r4, a stronger fresh trans with new guts is probably worth the extra coin, Toyota parts are hard to come by down here (most get exported to Mexico) and GM stuff is alot more readily available. w56 rebuild down the line would be a pain and probably exceed the initial cost of the 700r4/adapter...
