It has been a while, but I had the same problem. There is a roll pin at the bottom of the tranny shifter that is pushed to far one way or the other. I used a pair of channel locks to even it up. I don't remember all the details. I'm sure someone here can help you out.


Correct the pin in the shifter rod that runs thru the transfer case is to far in or not enough
