Have you checked/adjusted the timing chain guide?


I've never had the cover off of this motor. It ran good so I threw it in. Exactly what I thought though. I am hoping its a guide of some sort rubbing the chain. It seems when I took another motor apart, that one of the guides had broken off and was lying inside the cover. Its been awhile and I'm forgetful.
