I dont think your under standing what he's trying to say ...You have two chains in the 2.6 ...One runs the cam and one runs balancers ..You CAN ajust one the balancer run ..Look on the timing cover theres a small cover you remove ...Try that ..

I'm sure you know this ...

Pull the valve cover and look down the chains and see what you get ...Look for small black plastic chunk (chain runner dieing) ...
