Kind of nit picky on my part... But I just didnt want anyone to try spark plug boot grease on their service drop.

I was only trying to illustrate the difference in power losses over cable runs (I knew they weren't really worth worrying about). The practicalities of running AL vs Cu I am quite happy to leave to your authorities (Federally and on this forum).

Dont get me wrong... I thought your post was great. I was looking at a new service drop recently, going from 100 amp service to 200 amp. That got me into the same discussion of what type of wire to run for the power company to hook up.

It's all good info.
