Ya, there seems to be more irregulars coming to the site on a wim to find a fix to their big problem rather than regulars that have the answer to them. I must admit I should be on that site more helping others where I can. Most of us go to the forum to find answers more than give 'em. So no fuel, no spark. Generally, the computer won't provide fuel spark if it doesn't know the engine is cranking. IE: Crank Position Sensor and/or Cam Position Sensor. Really need a 'Scan Tool' Not an ABDII scanner, but a SCAN TOOL. these will allow you see live data of your sensors. Nice when diagnosing things like this. Say this.. you scroll down to your Cam Pos Sensor and watch it's operation while you crank the motor. if no counts are made, then check connections, 5V reference supply voltage. Most sensor supply voltages are 5V..
On a side note, I find it interesting that supply voltages for most engine sensors are 5V.. same as a USB power source.. you could per say, use this for a USB charger maybe if tapped into an unused line in theory. Food for thought <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/cyclops.gif" alt="" />
