John, for future reference, all is not lost when you see the expiration message. If you use the back button, it will all still be there. You can then copy and paste your message into a new reply window, and it will work. I've done it lots of times on my longer-winded posts. Ray's solution is obviously safer than mine, but I haven't failed to post this way yet.
