What a fantastic trail! Here are a few more pics.
I knew I was in for something when the trail started out with this 40-45 degree climb on a rock shelf.
Justice kicking up some dust.
Hmm, is that a crushed Mitsu center cap lying on the trail there?
Justice getting some serious lean.
I'm still seeing rocks in my sleep.
No, my side mirrors didn't get ripped off by rocks. I finally wised up after hitting one too many trees and took'm off!

On the third day, this storm started building. Later, as we were in the hardest part of the trail, it started raining and hailing. The mountain didn't want us to leave easy!

No trip report would be complete without a damage report!
Thin wall tube bumpers are not ideal for rock crawling!

Justice is definitely the guy to go wheeling with. He has this magic box that seems to have every trail repair item imaginable. My truck would still be on that mountain if he didn't just happen to have a propane torch, acid flux paste, and some solder to repair the tank seam on my crappy aftermarket radiator. I'm looking forward to reading blueeyeddevil's opinion on Justice's soldering job. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/nana.gif" alt="" />

That's about it for the pics, but not for the adventure. Just after leaving the trail and heading home, I noticed the truck was chirping while turning corners. Turns out the rear ARB was still locked even though the compressor had been off for a day, so I had to drive all the way to SD that way. One more thing to add to the growing list of repairs to complete! But it was worth every ding and scratch! Truly a magnificent trail.
My equipment recommendations after just barely making it through Dusy are: front and rear lockers, crawler gears, winch, 35's, armor, armor, armor, and making sure Justice is there to patch you up and encourage you to make it through! Thanks Justice, you're a great trail leader. In a past life, you were leading conestoga wagons up the Oregon Trail!
