I don't like the amount of body roll and general loose feeling that results from having no sway bars. I keep my front sway bar on for driving around town but remove it for 4-wheeling trips - it only takes about 10 minutes to remove the front skid plate, remove the sway bar and replace the skid plate.

My rear bar has been permanently removed.
