And are the late 90 & 91 units really the same as Gen2? or is there a mistake in the listing for the year range?


The first Pajero concept SUV was in 1973 at an auto show...and the first Pajero to enter the Paris-Dakar Rally was 1983 (they started making them in '82 in Japan). <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

As for the year cutoffs...they are going off the JDM versions. The Gen2 in Japan came in January '91. But basically, if it's a US Gen1 platform, you need the smaller diameter bar. Gen2's get the larger (27.5mm?) bar.
