Body Damage is Cool
The vacation was not specifically about 4WD, but I made lots of unpaved miles along the trip, I needed a locker, and was even stuck once (well, because I was tired and sleepy). One trail, in Arches National Park, was not very easy.

I completed the trip report:

Awesome trip report Oleg!!

Nice pics, but 117* through DV?? yikes!! Insane <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/scared.gif" alt="" />

Could not camp or do any serious wheeling out there during this time. let alone sleep at night <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/barf.gif" alt="" />

Take care!

We did not camp in DV, Jason. We were just passing through. That was enough for us.

Although, two years ago I was camping in Warm Springs area, in the northern DV, with the group of friends. There were 115 or 117 degrees, too. We survived by soaking in the Warm Springs, then jumping out and cooling down by the wind. The wind was hot, and the water was hot, but the combination wind+water provided the necessary cooling effect. And the cold beer was helping, also.
