Ok, back from road test, tranny was shifting a little hard at first, but after a few miles shift points came down and ...drumroll...we have OD smile Thanks to all.

Now, unfortunately, got some vibration at 55mph...and it feels *funny* i.e. not like a tire or a sticking brake...sooooo, back up on jack stands this time, then into neutral and i start shaking and pushing on the wheels, all good, EXCEPT..when i went to check the ujoints on the driveshaft...turn it a bit, pretty good and tight, just a little play HOWEVER,,,after I turned it 3 or 4 times, it occurred to me that the shaft looked a little funny down at the other end...so i scootch on down there, grab the shaft, and feels like I've grabbed an egg LOL, *APPARENTLY* someone kissed a rock or some other hard non biological substance, with this shaft. LOL, pretty damned big dent.

Fortunately, I have a couple of shafts around here somewhere so I'll swap one in and see if that solves my vibration problem. Otherwise, truck is running very strong, not a hint of smoke, and even all the 4x4 & wheel lock lights are now operational smile oh, and changing the tranny, transfer and pumpkin oils tonight (already did the engine oil, and flushed the hydraulics while doing the new calipers and pads up front. But first, a beer LOL
