Computer died lon? What specifically? I'm a 1/2 way computer tech. Will is having me try to repair one of the shop monitors that crapped out. It needs a capacitor. When I order it, i'll solder it in place of the blown one and see if the monitor fires up. Anyway,
Anyway, I got that Sheree's 95 Sportage up and running!! Remember how her keyway broke and the sprocket spun on the crank? Her keyway was gone and the crank was a little torn up around the keyway cutout. I got a .60cent keyway from Napa for free, but I still gave them .50 in the pennies cup, machined it down to fit as it was too tall to squeeze between the crank and sprocket. I filled the keyway cavity with JB weld, pressed the keyway into the cavity, slid the sprocket over it, and cranked on the front crank sprocket bolt. Set the Timing belt OE spec. Sputtered for a sec and FIRED UP! whew whoo! Too bad I didn't own this one like I could've for only a few hundred. It only has like 132,000mi, A/C, A/T, 4WD, great interior and just aged paint on the ext.. Anyway, I'll assemble the rest tomorrow after work and drive it to/from work the rest of the week to make sure it runs good. smile Then I'll give it back to it's owner. They will be soooo happy! It has a sticky lifter noise, but I think it's just an empty HLA that needs to fill with oil as it hasn't been ran for a few weeks/months.
