Yep, works.

I cut a piece of plastic, from a coffee can lid if I remember correctly.

Traced the brass ring, cut it out, then sandwiched it between the wheel and the ring. My horn would only work in the high spots after using washers.

Also, you can use a "spent" .22 shell, slip it over the plunger. Perfect fit and effectively extends the length of that spring loaded plunger. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />
