A swap is fairly easy.

1) Drain fluid.
2) Uncouple prop shaft from the companion flange.
3) Remove wheels, drums, unbolt and unhook e-brake cables.
4) Unbolt axle flanges at axle housing.
5) Pull out axles about 6".
6) Unbolt and remove 3rd member.
7) Clean sealing surface on axle housing and new 3rd member.
8) Install new 3rd member with liberal RTV.
9) Completely remove axles and install new o-rings.
10) Check axle end play per FSM spec and shim accordingly (shim kits available from dealer).
11) Apply sealant to axle housing hub flange and install axles.
12) Reinstall e-brake cables, drums and wheels.
13) Reinstall prop shaft.
14) Fill differential with gear oil and friction modifer.
15) Drive it.

You might find it easier to remove the anti-sway bar, but it's possible to do the swap with it in place.... just a little fiddly.
