Ok here are the pics, sorry for the resolution but I had to take them with my cell.....the rusted metal is hard to see, but it is right below the glass as you can see in this picture:






the next two show some copper? pipes coming off the metal assembly..there is rust on these also, I think these are the drive tubes?? how exactly does this glass move?? also in the second picture, to the right of the rusted metal clip? and above the black metal piece is where the metal below the glass is rusted..just another shot of it from a different angle..
