Yes. Something I didn't see in your original post. When was the last good tune up? Plugs, wires, cap, rotor, air filter, etc...

Air filter is fairly new.
Hasn't had a tune up since I've owned it (2+ years). The PO said it had been tuned up right before I bought it. This isn't my DD. I've put maybe 10,000 mile on it since I've bought it.

So I should go ahead and do a tune up? If that changes nothing... then a compression test?
