I'm in need of one for a late 2.6l (the one without the cat-converter inside it) for my buddy's Gen 1. Are they stil available at the dealer?

They might, the part number is MD110720. I think I still have one from my 87 if you want it, just charge you for shipping.

Thanks for the quick reply, Jimbotsi!

I'd really like to find a new one. I searched the Mitsu # and found that ATP (The automatic transmission parts company) has one listed in their catalog! The part # is 101150.

A couple local sources show it with wholesale prices (for the shop I work at) ranging from $130-$200, but no local stock. They have to get back to me to verify it's still available. I'll get back to you in a "PM" if I decide to go "good used"!

Whichever you buy, I recommend cutting the inter-port casting webs to isolate each runner, and if you do it on a used one, have the gasket surface refaced.

Body Damage is Cool
eddy, why do you say to cut it? Mine is in great shape, but something I have noticed is that it still has the factory brace on the headpipe. I've looked at a few, both running and in jyards, and I've noticed that those weren't attached, especially noticible on one I found running wqith a cracked manifold. With mine still having the brace, you think I should take and get that machining done? Opinions please!!!!

I'm not sold on it/ I've ran both manifolds with cut and uncut webs. I had a cut web manifold warp so bad on my I had to take a few prybars to get it off the studs, Ruined the studs to say the least.
