hey guys new member here. from NC have a 1993 mitsubishi MightyMax 3.0, 5 speed, 4x4 obviously.

i have two questions right off:
Where are all the MightyMaxs?
And are parts
intercahangable with
montero/raiders?

Several MM's and d50's on here. Many parts interchange. My first one was an 85 d50 Power Ram 4wd.

Welcome aboard. Pickups are most welcome here, Southerners more so...

I know it's a big state, but NC has a couple gatherings a year of the Mitsu people. Keep your eyes on the board for the next one, you'll be able to meet up with these guys. They have some great wheeiling times.

thanks guys.... one of the guys from up north unknowingly inspired me to get this truck i belive his screen name is shorepig? from somewhere in canada. loved the look of his MM. what is the easiest way to i.d. the gear ratios of the mighty max? i want to go with 35's and need to know if a gear change will need to be done

But the warm bodies are from down south. Nice to see another MM owner here.

Welcome to the wire. Your MM will have 4.22 gears in it. The diffs from a gen 1 V6 Montero will give you an easy bolt in install of 4.62 gears.

Look at the data plate under the hood. It has the diff ration on it in a 4 digit number, a la 4222, 4625, 3909, 3545, etc...
