Since the forum is kinda dead lately, I thought I would ask, If you had to pick, what is the best modification you have made to your T-100 or Tundra.
I guess mine would be manual hubs, because I dont worry about axle boots any more. And, thats about the only mod I've done.
So, lets here from the rest of you.

P.S. I have a brand new CV joint boot kit (6433) from Napa if anyone is in need. I'll ship it to you for $15.

lets see, I have a bunch of favorites.
Numero uno is the Recaro Seat. pulled the left hand side of a 60/40 bench and I am in heaven, I can drive until my bladder gives out, next, air horns from a marine catalog with their own direct drive compressor. Nothing says ITS A TRUCK WITH TRUCK BRAKES GET OUT OF THE WAY like a big boat horn smile In third is a Limited Slip I found on clearance, makes the truck almost keep up with the inlaws subaru in bad weather. I also am a big fan of the new speakers (well, scratch and dents) from crutchfield that I put in, but getting the back speakers in was slightly more fun than a root canal. An almost free mod I love is the I peeled back the carpet in the back left of the cab, pulled out the access panel, and replaced it with some 1/4 inch masonite, and then glued the carpet back down, giving me a second storage compartment. and, no-one knows about it... Well, Y'all know, but folks not on this board.
I did manual hubs and like them too, it also is nice to get out and walk around the truck when you think you need 4wd, and see what the conditions are, than yank a lever, and think all is well in the world.
Lastly, I love the big aux tranny cooler I put in its way oversized, but the tranny stays cool as can be (near ambient air temp) in the nastiest conditions. good stuff...

I do regret putting in the flexalite electric fan, yes, better mileage and a little more power, but it simply gave me too much grief. Still in, but, lots oh grief

I know some of these aren't really mods, but they are if the truck didn't have them when I bought it
A few of the best...
Manual front hubs (awesome)
Marlin Crawler shifter seat and end cap upgrades (shifts way better now)
A "new" old drop-in bedliner (no more bed destruction)
A working stereo (of course)
Tint!!! (nuff said)
I flipped the tires around to show the OWL...much better
And definitely all-weather mats (a car-sick cat of mine made this all too clear the other day...thank you rubber mats!!!)

All of these mods make life way better in the truck than when I got it, and it wasn't exactly tough to begin with

Total Chaos idler arm. Haven't had to touch the alignment since and the tires wear much better.

Ready to fish at a moment's notice for those salmon, eh? Cool idea! But my redfish lures would melt on my dash in the summer heat!

I rigged it up for drying originally. They have a nasty habit of bouncing out of the console over the stereo or of sticking my fingers when I go rummaging through the console. But yeah, rip it off the dash, stick it to the vest. Saved my bacon last weekend. I got six hours from town...realized I'd forgotten my box of dries. The one dry I had in the dash patch lasted me the weekend. Caught 20s hand over fist with it for two days.

I could have said the Dana, the air lockers, the snorkel, the winch, the full-float rear end, but really...the fly patch.

The Dana - I'm at a point I'd like a 60 or a custom with Longfields.
The snorkel - I'm generally too tall for most water crossings to be a concern any more.
The winch - I'd go with a 9500 Ti or anything sealed better than a 9000i.
The full float - again, a custom with the disc brackets permanently mounted or a 14b ff.
The air lockers - a rear is overkill; faced with two axles again I'd ARB the front, Detroit the rear.

So, really...the fly patch.
