Diamante:
cams ( cam timing, etc) are differennt
Pistons are different( dia. has 10:1 compression, Monty is 8.9:1)
Chysler: early engine has solid rockers not rollers like Mitsu.
you must use Mits oil pump. This will block passages that will let oil out the chrysler oil filter mount.
