I'm not sure if it's "stretching" it at all...I think it's actually pretty close to the same. The axle housing is empty right now, I'm probably going to pull it out tomorrow to do the final assembly on the axle...so, I'll try to get a better idea then.

It looks like the driveshaft might hit the clutch slave. Have you put the trans into its normal position , as if the engine were in , to see if slave clears.


Well, I've got an automatic, and I didn't change it's position.
