I went to Nate's yesterday. While chatting, this front diff cover thing came up. We both figgered that the fitting for the GenII might fit in the GenI cover. Reuben had pulled a salvage cover and sent it to me (I still need to know how much to send you). Brendan and I had already put my old cover on with RTV and all, so I pulled the fitting out of my current cover. My thinking was if the GenI fitting went into the GenII cover, then it would work vice versa. And it did...

Said all that to say, if you're wanting to do this, call the stealer and order P/N MR176208. It's the fitting itself and the rubber o-ring to seal it with. IIRC it was less than $10. I'll be posting this in P/N suppository for posterity.
