Mine has them intact. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> They were missing when I bought the truck, but still available at the time from the dealer.

A piece of vinyl or rubber tubing will do just as well.

I was thinking chair leg ends. You know those little rubber or urethane caps that they put on to stop them marking or digging in to the floor.

Figured I could pick some up at the local hardware store pretty cheap, they would need to be pretty hard though so they dont just rip apart first contact.

I thought about putting on a rubber tube large enough to go over the whole post, and long enough to protrude 1/4" past the end, and fill that stub end with grease.

Can someone take a picture of what yall are talking about with the steering ends? i can not see anything wrong with mine at all but I have a terrible squeaking espically offroad making hard turns. i thought it was my sway bar.
