My life has been just a little insane the last couple weeks with my truck problems. How's that going Eli?
'97 Montero 'LSR' - 4.6 gears & factory rear locker, 33" Procomp muds on 15x8 steelies, 50mm coil spacers, T-bar crank, Airlift, sans rear sway, 50mm rear frame & fuel tank lift, Aisins, ARB front bumper + 10k lb winch, 50mm DIY body lift, rock sliders, cut rear quarter panels...

Eli.. There's a good chance I'll have my truck at uwharrie instead of the Montero. All the parts I've been gathering for the last few months come down to this one weekend getting it all done before thursday.

Its cool man, we understand the Montero with the rear locker would make Uwharrie too easy for ya. I am defintely in as long as I have a place to camp. I have had question about some of my stuff for sale I can bring about anytihng to URE. o yeah Reuben if you could bring that brake rotor that would be great. thanks yall

Brown Truck and Red Truck got towed yesterday to a shop. After 5 hours of hanging around with the mechanic yesterday the engine is out of the brown truck, plus the transmission/t-case. Looks like I will be using the trans/t-case from the brown truck also. Has less miles on it, hasn't been wheeled etc. Dropped the pan on it and every thing looked good. If I am lucky I will get 3rd members swapped and front lincoln locked also. That would be the silver lining on this, end up in time for Mitsuwharrie with 4.88s and the front locked. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif" alt="" />

Good luck dude, hope it works out for you. Thanks. Good news/bad news. Good news is a couple things. 1.)The truck will be done by Thursday, so I will be at Uwharrie Friday morning. 2.)Turns out the engine from the brown truck was recently rebuilt, plus its been bored out. Bad news. Won't have the 4.88s or lincoln locked front for the trip. Not a biggie because with no time to shake down the truck I won't be doing a lot of wheeling anyway. Will probably catch a ride on most of the trail runs.
