Previous Thread Next Thread Print Thread Rate Thread Quartzsite AZ gas and CEL #1009471 09/24/10 10:44 PM Joined: Feb 2008 Posts: 120 Phoenix, AZ O OneTime OP Wheeler Everytime I drive from Phnx to L.A. and I stop for gas in Quartzsite or the Texaco just east of State Line, my CEL comes on right after I pull way from the pump. I dissconect the battery in L.A. It stays off till I again stop for gas on the way home. Then it comes on again. I also think my MPG tanks too. I doesnt happen going anywhere else. What gives? It has happened on two trips now. 98 Gen 2.5 w/ winter package & 31x10 BFG ATs.
