Hieveryone! I own a 96' rodeo 5 speed with the 3.2 l v6. I am triing to find out if another stronger more powerfull engine /isuzu or other maybe toyota's 3.4l/could be swapped in place of mine to increase the hp and the go on the truck.I am thinking of a more "simple " swap rather then a full custom job where you make any engine work. I came across a thread about how the bellhousing /i think that is what was called/is on isuzus will fit a toyota transmission or transfer case, meaning you could pair up an isuzu engine with a lower geared toyota transmission or transfer case.Would this mean that you can pair up an isuzu transmission with a toyota engine?Iam not a mechanic but i hope i am making sense here since my knowledge and terms are limited. I have been searching on the forum for some time now and could not find the answer. Can you guys school me on this or point me to the right direction?
thank you for anyone helping
