Now with new 02 sensor and completed exhaust it idles good and doesn?t misfire, it isn?t cold starting though. I have to crank on it for a while and throttle it until it starts and then i have to hold the idle up until it warms up, after that it is about perfect. LT says ISC and I agree, any thing i could be missing? What is the sensor next to the ISC on this engine? It?s not the TPS that?s on the front side.

ECU CTS on the thermostate neck, probably a two wire with connectors in a tee shape.

Ok now i have replaced the engine coolant sensors, the two sensors i need to replace are the idle speed motor (idle surges) and the sensor right next to it. I have no idea what that one is but if it's unplugged the truck runs perfectly other than the idle surging but if i plug it in it only allows the truck to rev to maybe 2000RPMS and then it cuts out like a rev limiter. What is this sensor called? Also the idle speed motor on this engine is different than the ones on the montero, it's got a plastic screw on the end inside the intake that opens and closes whatever valve is connected to the mystery sensor. These two things obviously work together to control idle and cold starting. Any ideas?

I do want that stuff <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> Let me know what you want for the electrical parts, I?ll probably want most of them for spares. I?ll take pictures of my parts and post up part numbers so we can make sure yours match up to mine.

Ebay doesn?t, I tried to sell a testicle on there once but they deleted my ad after a couple days. Should be fine here though because i?m talking truck parts.

I've seen truknutz on here, and if it's good enough for a truck...

I can't find wiring diagrams for the eci for that truck. Got any, or a linky?
