What is the mileage on the odometer? What are the compression numbers? What did the plugs look like?

If compression is good and it still smokes, the oil rings are stuck. There is something you can do about that.

I thank everyone for the replies; I've been getting over the flu and haven't been able to do much.

Odometer on the truck reads 80,000mi.

With all plugs out and engine cold:
#1-120psi, #2-115psi, #3-120psi, #4-125psi

All plugs are dry but covered in black soot/carbon (they were cleaned before the 10min of run time) and smell of oil.

I have added a cup of ATF fluid to the engine oil and started the truck for another 30 seconds to hopefully recondition some of the seals as mentioned in a post.

What do I need to do if the oil rings are stuck? And how would I stop the oil leak around the top of the timing chain cover?

I really appreciate everyoneÆs help. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
