It worked. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> My brother's tire sidewall got torn. The patch was enough to keep air from leaking and allow him to get down to the bottom of the trail.
There were 8-10 Jeep guys watching while I drove the Montero down that section of trail. They were afraid to drive it and turned around. Of course got plenty of comments like "Does your wife know where you drive her car?" "That looks too nice for this trail." "Are you really going down there?"
They were all quiet after getting down the trail without damage.
