Dont forget the other issues you will have to deal with, like removing the 4 wheel drive shifter, cutting it and rewelding it shorter, the same with the tranny shifter linkage. You also might need a new firewall gasket where the steering goes through, and remove the steering extension and radiator lift supports. I guess you leave the floor shifter longer without much problem, but the rest of the stuff needs to be done.
