k. so the window crank knob disintegrated at about 163k. i fabbed something using a skateboard bushing, screw and washer. all that has worked well until recently at 170k the window will crank all the way up and when it gets right to the point where it's fully closed, the crank slips and the window falls about 3/4". if i pull the window up and let it slip a few times while cranking up, it'll stay fully closed i took it all apart and it seems the crank is like an enclosed pinion, and its teeth mesh with this protractor looking thing with teeth. well, something happens when it gets to the last couple teeth. the protractor thing looks ok, i think maybe things are both worn to the point where it slips at that angle.

ok, now that i probably made no sense, does anyone know what i'm talking about and how to fix this?
