double posting because i realized my junk box has some OE chrome window visors. until i figure out how and where to get a new manual regulator, i could just affix the visors HOWEVER i don't see anything in the FSM about how to affix these. there is no evidence of adhesive or anything - somehow they slide in. i put them on and they don't look like they will stay in with wind whipping and road bumps so i masked everything off and applied some clear silicone, pressed them in, and applied more silicone. pulled back the tape and it's a fine neat bead. we'll see if it holds lol.

EDIT: i guess these aren't OE - they look like stainless steel, and have "ventshade" lightly imprinted on them in basic type...really small and light. ancient stuff here. who the heck knows where they came from.
