I've got one of the original prototypes of Misterbishi's front sway disconnects on my ride (Augie's old ride circa 2003). Unless someone knows otherwise I don't think his new one is available anymore.

I believe the threaded pins that locked the halved bar to the pivoting disconnect piece are rusted or worn which is giving me a pop when I corner.

I really like this mod and would like to keep it but chances are retooling it is not an option.

At the welding supply I saw some brazing wire that is 45% silver - I believe it was these guys...I dont remember what the disconnect was made of but it looks like some sort of chromoly. Do you think brazing with this silver stuff around the whole outer edge of the two ends (where the bar fits into the disconnect) would be enough to hold it on there or am I wasting my time & $$?
