I can see what you mean John. Fortunately in my case, an 'empty' can will be there more as a tail gater 'buffer' LOL. My Nato cans (4) are mounted on the roof using a purpose built gas can mount.

Reminds me though that I need to modify the mount that came with mine so I can put it on.
