Bought an 01 yamaha banshee a few months ago. There a local guy that goes racing with his, he talked me into going to a hare scramble.

Meow I've never done any racing with my banshee (minus showing up my buddies 08 polaris outlaw :P ) and the hare scramble should atleast me an interesting ordeal.

A hare scrambles an offroad race for quads/bikes. This uns a 4.75 mile loop. No idea on laps/heats or anthing like that.

Anyone done anything like this before? I'm up for some advice.

Btw I'm pulling my quad down there with my 87 raider that will be pulling a 1979 d50 sport pick up bed I bought in bright orange, with color matched 14in spoke wheels

What other safety gear do you have for yourself? :

Put me down as your insurance beneficiary.

I would presume they would ask you for emergency information if you were to be injured. Include allergies or any meds taken. If not, make sure that info is on your person or the dashboard of your rig.

Coming from this EMS person.

Most are two hours long. I felt like I had been beaten up badly for about 5 days after the last one I did...but I don't ride much anymore. Since you're doing it on a motorized couch, should be no problem. Ha ha

It's just a thought, but I'd add a cup to that protection package...

Its a 2hr ordeal I found out today.

The motorized couch I'm hoping doesn't beat me up to bad. Told the boss I'm going racing this weekend and he told me to make sure we got the last 2 grain bins done incase I become disabled. Ones gonna be done before noon tomorrow and the other will be done bout 24hrs after.
