Getting the Wheeling Fever
|
So I'm gonna need your help with this. I'm pulling my 22RE to swap in a 7m and I'm having issue with the wiring harness. I've got everying disconnected except for the damn wiring harness. I was hoping to remove the engine without having to disconect any of the harness connections on the engine and just pull the harness through the firewall. What I didn't plan for was that a portion of the harness runs down to the O2 senors and that is loomed with the contections for the tranny and transfer case. I'm not swapping the tranny and I'm not planning on removing it, just the engine at the bellhousing. So what's the trick to separating the wiring to the tranny? It looks like I've got to remove the engine with the entire harness and then separate the tranny wiring from the rest?? <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" /> This is my first engine removal and it's going real good, just this hiccup. Thanks all.
