Just registered on the forums but have been reading for a while and getting lots of great info here as I fix up my 1987 Dodge Raider.

Did a search and see lots of people here bypass the Reed Valve completely but I was told I'd need it to pass inspection here in New York.

Among other things the '87 Raider (I call Sid) was suffering from neglect. The catalytic converter was backed up and the heat build-up caused that thin pipe from exhaust manifold to the reed valve to blow-out and self-destruct.

Any ideas or contacts for someone who sells or fabricates this part would be greatly appreciated.
