Good idea to generally always wear gloves... but one instance where they can be dangerous.. around rotating machines.. same risk as clothing or long hair...

Saw an instance where a guy's glove got caught on the bit in a drill press and pulled his hand into the bit in a bad way... made a mess of his hand..

No doubt he was taking risks with his hand that close, but probably would have been less carnage to his hand without the glove.
