Okay so after some head scratching and a little troubleshooting I found why jumping Fp and B+ on the diagnostic port wouldn't work. I failed to connect the Fp wire from the truck harness to the Fp wire on the supra harness. So I jumped the unconnected Fp wire near the ECU to a nearby B+ location and who knew I got fuel pressure. Started her up and she idled well and fuel pressure stayed constant!! So this makes me believe that I messed up the wiring described to me in the write-up I was using as a guidline. Here is my question, how dangerous would it be to temporarily run the truck with Fp and B+ jumped? I'm gonna find the issue, but I really could use my truck back in the next couple days so the wife doesn't have my head!! Any thoughts?
