Body Damage is Cool
For those of you that don't know, I recently had my 88 engine (2.6)go down. I decided I'm tired of this 2.6L crap. So I'm putting a 3.5 from a 95 SR into the 88. I halfway did this swap about 5 years ago and lost motivation. I need to see this thing through this time around. Any advice or suggestions welcome. My goal is Christmas time to be done with it. Ill keep you guys updated.

!!!!!!!!!!!!!WHAT ABOUT BOB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh and if you want help or pointers on doing the swap maybe you should post in the mitsu tech section considering everyone in this forum you know personally and really only know as much as you do about this swap. We will however cheer you on, GO KEVIN!!!

In a very recent, top-secret communication, the AZ Crew is reporting that this transplant has resulted in a successful start-up and run test. Hopefully more details will emerge as shake down and driving tests occur.

Good work, Crew.

stopped by pa_jeros house today he had been trying to figure out why he wasn't getting power to his mpi relay and not really knowing how to read wiring diagrams very well(I don't like the chilton wiring diagrams very much i like the michells much more) he was ready to pour the home depot bucket full of gas he was using as a gas tank on the truck and just watch that mother burn. So i took a look at things ran a new wire, when we keyed it on before start the sounds coming from the engine bay were welcome sounds then turned it over and with a little chugging and a couple flicks of throttle she roared to life. big grins from both of us for sure. Pa_jero will post up more later, so from here on out its make everything fit nice air box, which radiator to use blah blah blah.

95% done, he drove it about a quarter mile last night. He has a few leaks to fix (hoses). I went over yesterday and helped with the fuel pump, battery tray, intake box and other random things. That thing is gonna be awesome! I still haven?t got to ride in it yet
