I bought a set of 16x7 Toyota Tacoma steel wheels off Craig's List, and mounted some Sumitomo 265/70 AT tires on them. The comments about lugs on alloy wheels and hub openings are spot on. Other wheels might have the same bolt pattern, but the hub opening will be too small for a Gen I Monty. The Toyota Tacoma wheels fit PERFECTLY on my '89 SWB. Measure the diameter of your hubs, then ask how large is the center opening on the wheels you're thinking of getting, and you'll be surprised at how many wheels have a center opening that's too small. I think older Chevys have the same 6-lug pattern, but the center opening is too small. The Tacoma steelies work great. Not the prettiest steel wheels around, but maybe you can find a set of Tacoma or Landcruiser alloys for cheap?
