There are very few on this board that are mechanics or technicians. A lot of these guys should take it up, though.

You'll find these to be very reliable vehicles and not overly expensive to maintain correctly. Just throw some common sense at it and you'll be fine.

About the only "gotcha" (if I'm remembering right) with the v-6s is making sure the crankshaft bolt (that holds on the pulley) has been replaced and is torqued correctly. Misubishi redesigned that bolt and issued new torque specs on it. There are several post around that outline the issue. If you find it hasn't been done, do it. It's not a matter of "if," it's a matter of "when."
